San Francisco native, Saloni, enters 韦德游戏 undecided.

She joins campus clubs and is interested in science, economics, and exploring the humanities. She eventually declares Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.

Saloni joins the Parlee Center for Science and Common Good as a fellow.

Inspired by the course Biomedical Ethics, she wants to explore an intersectional liberal arts education, including science and public health.

Saloni begins research on the effect of BPA on breast cancer cell growth.

She continues this research as a Summer Fellow on campus.

This inspires her to later pitch an idea for a non-profit health clinic for migrant workers at the annual BEAR innovation competition.

Inspired by classes in global health, politics, and ethics, she wants to use expertise in medicine as a platform to create systemic change. She graduates Phi Beta Kappa.
